Sergey  Astakhov is a filmmaker and artist who for the past 15 years has created remarkable cinematic works featured on platforms such as PBS, CBS, FOX, Paramount, Comedy Central, Hulu and many others. He has worked with multinational film producers on international feature projects such as “Finding Mother” and documentary works on some of the most important topics to date. With a passion for storytelling, he has worked with giant organizations in bringing creative solutions to their marketing campaigns.  By offering new story-based and narrative marketing methods, he has helped tell the heartwarming stories of these complex corporations within their gray walls. A pride factor to his success is his ability to produce products that visually overpower their budgets. Always creating new ways of capturing ideas and building innovative adaptions to his work methods.

As a visual storyteller, he has superseded expectations and brought immense attention and credibility to already highly established, multi-level organizations.  An example of this is his recent projects for Inland Empire Health Plan called “The Gift of Hope”. This commercial not only won statewide in the AAF Golden Pro Awards, the 26th Annual Communicator Awards but also won the hearts of millions through some of the biggest television networks in the Los Angeles, and Inland Empire communities. His education in Entertainment Art from California State University Fullerton is backed by foundational experience in in the field. Sergey has worked as a Director, Creative Writer, Cinematographer, Editor and Producer both on location and in a studio setting. Keeping up with the advent of new technologies, he has honed his ability to adapt and improvise. He believes that any space, big or small is never a detriment to create something profound. Working with people from all walks of life, through language barriers and projects setbacks, Sergey always finds a way.
